Finora
Terms of Service
Effective date: August 27, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Finora (product name Orvix Finora, associated with Orvix1) (the “Service”).
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Finora is a software workspace that helps individuals and businesses manage personal and business financial information and related operational records. Features may include accounts and transactions, budgets, projects and documents, inventory, shared expenses, donations, committees, reports, and related tools available in your workspace.
Features may change over time. Some capabilities may depend on your account permissions, settings, or optional integrations you enable.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for safeguarding your credentials and connected devices.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (and at least 13 years old, or the higher age required locally). Accounts that appear inactive, abusive, or fraudulent may be restricted.
4. Google Authentication
You may sign in or register using Google Sign-In. When you do, Google authenticates your identity and Finora receives limited profile information (such as email, name, Google user ID, and avatar) needed to create or access your Finora account.
Google Sign-In for Finora uses basic identity scopes (openid,
profile,
email) and does not grant Finora access to Gmail,
Drive, Calendar, or Contacts for sign-in.
If you optionally connect Gmail sending in Settings, you authorize Finora to send email on your behalf using Google’s send scope. You can disconnect these integrations where the Service provides that option.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
- Attempt to access another user’s private workspace without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, security controls, or related infrastructure
- Probe, scan, or reverse engineer the Service except where permitted by law
- Upload malware or content that infringes others’ rights
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using authentication or sharing features
- Abuse invitations, email sending, imports, exports, or API-like automation in a way that harms the Service or others
6. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and backup of the information you enter into Finora, including financial figures, tax-related fields, business identity details, documents, and attachments.
Finora provides software tools; it does not replace professional accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. You remain responsible for compliance with laws that apply to your use of the Service and to your records.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Finora / Orvix1 or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the content you submit to your workspace. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely as needed to operate the Service for you.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third parties such as Google (authentication and optional email sending) and email/infrastructure providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
9. Availability and Changes to the Service
We aim to keep Finora available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal, or product reasons.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific accounting, tax, or business requirements, or that calculations, exports, documents, or notifications will be free from defects.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINORA AND Orvix1 WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANY AMOUNTS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the limitation applies only to the fullest extent permitted.
12. Account Suspension or Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion through available privacy or account settings.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, pose a security risk, or if required by law. Where practical, we will provide notice. Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive termination.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date and post the revised Terms at this URL. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
